This mini started out as the plastic GW dragon that came with Asarnil. I built an armature and attached the head, legs, and wings, then resculpted the body. Rider is a converted Manfred VonCarstein. All in all it took about seven months of sculpting and painting. This is my second post of this mini, with much better pics. Thanks for looking.

It's been a while since I've seen this one in person, but I remember it being a 12. This one was great to watch from start to finish. I hate to open an old wound, but... I can't believe that Elf-chick beat this, but I think we both know why... That would only be funny if Jeff could read it, but I'd say it to him.

Awsome job on this one, Greg. The gold just goes to show it. I intend on entering next march in Atlanta----and it's models like this that make me reconsider...8) Kevin

I agree, I saw this model in person. In fact I had an Orc General on Chariot competing against it but as soon as I saw this thing I was like, woah! This thing should have won the sword by far, it blew everything else away. The pictures don't do it justice, it was just so smooth.

Looks even better in person. With the risk of offending Jeff, I thought this was Sword-winner material. Great job, Greg.

Love it, especially the ripped flesh hanging down, gruesome!
