I don'y like very ,much to paint regiments, so i try to give each model a special "touch" of his shield.

I also picked these up, never painted mine though, they are sitting in a box about 2 feet from me right now  I love what you did with the shields, adds just enough Orcish chaos to the unit. I usually try to 'randomize' something on my orc units as well but it tends to be an article of clothing. As mentioned by others, the basing is just odd. |

I bought these guys too, way back in 1988, and painted them in Testor's Enamel (god help me). You've done a fantastic job, and the unique shield designs give each memeber of the unit an identity, but then a sense of unity too. Nice, clean painting to boot. Old-Skool GW! Memories.... |

wierd bases, but the whole regiment looks great, esspecialy the shields. They look hard to do. |

Actually, I like the yellow. It's garish. You'd expect that of orcs. They have no fashion sense (except those prissy Foundry orcs) and want to intimidate their enemies, in this case by shocking their sense of tasteful clothing. But I do like the yellow and the creativity on the shields. |

I bought Ruglud's Armoured Orcs too "back then"! The memories... Very nice shields, not very orcy designs though, and the yellow doesn't fit in with the rest of the color-scheme. |
