This is the original Commissar Yarrick figure by GW, released circa 1992. He is painted in the "classic" color scheme, weathered a bit to look like a veteran of many battles.
The banner is a printed copy of the original banner for Commissar Yarrick, as featured in White Dwarf #152, with the back having a printed "classic" Rogue Trader-era slogan.

That I could. I'm working on a SM Standard Bearer right now, and going to see how well my freehand turns out. The size of the banner's a little smaller overall and I can cover up and problems with battle damage and burns. With that, thought, Yarrick might be seeing himself not only a new banner but a display base I've been long planning! |

I love this model! Great work with it, but I agree you should have painted the banner yourself. Youy could do it now that the comp is over, right? |

@ asmodee - ma francais est horrible, mais il n'y a pas de NMM ici. Tout les metals ici sont peintures metalliques. The ambient lighting I take my pictures in tends to kill any reflectivity.
@ smock22 - I would imagine back issues of WD #152 are still available as back order. I just wanted to use the original banner, and happen to have a collection of old issues from when I originally was into mini painting.
@ everyone else - thanks for the compliments! Any other suggestions? He was originally painted for a competition, so time constraints were an issue, and I've only tidied up the blatantly annoying stuff I noticed. I might get around to painting a new banner by hand, but not likely any time soon. |

j'aime bien la figurine, le dégradé, sur la pince est tès bon, le nmm est moins bon, le cntraste n'est pas assé appuyé, la banniere est très bien, je trouve aussi que les habilles manque de contraste... c'est une belle figurine, bravo § |
