This is the first figure in my Tau Vior'la Sept Combat Patrol. In GW narrative, the Vior'la Sept is "fiery" tempered and are seasoned warriors. I decided to try a new and different color scheme to represent their "fiery" nature. I've intentionally kept the basing low-key and nondescript to play up the colors of the Tau and their accompanying Kroot warriors (that, and I've got a whole lot of these guys to paint up...)

Kotobuki 08-Dec-05 #158841 | | Rating: 8 The quality of paint is excellent. A complete patrol painted to this standard would be lovely. However, by using a red under-suit and red armor, and red highlighting on the gun (unless that's a trick of the light)... the whole thing is rather a bit monotone. Even with the bright colors it still comes off feeling drab. I think a little extra contrast could help it out a bit. |

to be fair the modle isint anything special but the paint makes this one a 9 |
