when i got my hands on the iron priestess from rackham, i was really impressed by the amount of detail on this mini. The posture seems to be a bit static, but with the banners and this staff the mini looks really impressive. Such an impressive mini needs a bigger base i thought, so i decided to give her a place on a little vignette.
I planned to do a shattered portal to a mysterious garden. In this garden ishould be the shrine of the holy rose, a symbol for freedom for my griffons.
So the portal was done with some wild roses growing on it (except the windowthingie the ruin was scatchbuild). I´ll add two more minis to this vignette later (when i recieved them by mail) to represent that the priestess needs followers to do wonders.
Hope you´ll like it

Great, great, great piece - best iron priestess I have seen - and very atmospheric vignette. Great job!
... now I'll go dump my brushes in the garbage can and donate my paints to the local kindergarten |
