Hey Silphid!!! thanks for your comment. It means a lot to get constructive comments from someone who has, in my eyes, mastered the Gold nmm and then there are the wonderful reds to seam to pull off with ease.
Yeah I feel that Cmon is all about inspiration that gives us all the opportunity to try other painters techniques that we find pleasing. Cheers!!

The lighting effect on your base is good but I would ease out the transition from bright to dark light reflection a bit more so it does not look as drastic. Right now it goes from orangey-yellow straight to very dark red or black. I can't help but feel this was inspired by some else's work...  |
