These are a few figures from my Tau Vior'la Sept combat patrol in the making. While the initial Fire Warrior pics were essentially a color test, these are the finalized color scheme. I'll likely be painting the remaining Gun Drones in a dark maroon and black scheme, as opposed to the bright red, simply due to time constraints and the amount of blending involved thus far.
Image 112732 shows a top view of these figures, and image 118376 shows a group photo.

Jericho 17-Feb-06 #168004 | | Rating: 8 I definitely prefer the teal/blue gems on the one on the right to the standing figure. Personally I think red and a bit of blue works a lot better than any red/green combination on a model. I love painting red, and I love painting green, but I just won't do it on the same model anymore if i can help it. And my original suggestion still stands, hilight up the black a bit more and you'll get a whole lot more 9's from me As always, love the color scheme. |
