hi,
i had the pleasure to talk a lot with the rackham sculptors and the artistic director of rackham about miniature sculpting during the open in paris 2006 - i got a WIP look on

the chainmail work on this little 28mm mini was really jaw dropping and as they kept
their little secret on how to do something like this, i tried on my own to make something different than the usuall technic that you can see everywhere on minis.
so here is my first try on something different on the chainmail work - i changed the technic three times - thats why it´s looks sometimes a bit odd and not coherent.
material: fimo champagne2:1mix-quick / milliput superfine, green stuff

Sehr beeindruckend. Naja, das sind eigentlich alle Deine Arbeiten aber diese gefällt mir persönlich fast am besten. Seine Gesichtsausdruck ist einfach spitze und über das kettenhemd braucht man ebenso wenig Worte verlieren. Einfach hervorragend !!! Gibs den eigentlich irgendwo zu erwerben? Grüße Dir, shitzzo |

J'aime beaucoup l'expression Edgar!
Le travail de la cotte a effectivement du etre très complexe et le rendu est vraiment bon, meme si inégal comme tu le dis ds la description.
La seule critique que j'ai à faire est sur le bras tenant l'épée (le plus bas). La position du poignet n'est pas du tout réaliste, ou en tout cas, sur les fotos c'est ce qui ressort... maintenant les fonds noirs pour greens clairs... ça cree des abbérrations de perspective alors je me trompe peut-etre! - Michael |

sehr fein  ...aber denk dran, nach dem sculpter kommt der maler dran und der schaut dich dann so wie ich dich gestern angschaut hab an   ....du freak |
