This was my main project for Games Day Atlanta '06. It's based on a piece of artwork from the Chaos army book. I started with an old Bloodthirster, repositioned the legs, filed down and resculpted the torso, and sculpted over the head. The wings are from an old metal Dark Pegasus. Arms are sculpted, except for the left hand, which was the right hand from a Lord of Change. The axe is scratchbuilt. I'd guess around 300 hours. He did well and got a Bronze demon in what proved to be a very difficult combined category. Hope you like him.

Great conversion and paintjob, congrats on the bronze! The only thing that didn't make it a perfect 10 for me was how the skin wasnt very detailed. Still, its very well done! |
