Good base, superb paintjob (armor wear done smootly and clean) on an even better mini. As Micha said, it's great even for the non-oldtimers here
I love the "forgotten by all" helmet stripe and the insignia. I'd give this one a 9 but the conversion work is so cleverly done yet simple (IMHO overdone conversions ruin minis more often than they should). Surprisingly, that chaos "modern GW era" assault backpack fits really well on the Rogue Trader era imaginery and the 2nd ed. chainsword being two-edged gives him even more retro look. This little b*tch stole my heart! |

Very good piece, I like the way you combined classic and current parts in this model, backpack and chainsaw look modern while the rest is clssic; the paintjob and weathering are also very good, but my favorite are the authentic rougue trader insignia on helmet and jumppack. Al in all a great piece, not aonly for nostalgics. |
