My First Freebooter mini!!!
I picked this mini up at Salute 2006 as a pre-release - as soon as I saw her in the cabinets I had to buy her! Werner has really outdone himself with this simple yet beautiful miniature. I have kept the base relatively straight-forward as I really wanted this to be a very representational Freebooter miniature and used their sculpted base as supplied. I did, however, add a few of MickC22's leaflitter to it for a splash of colour. I have used Tamiya weathering powders to dirty the hem of her dress, her boots and the chest. The lips, eyes and nails have also been gloss varnished.
The photos dont quite do her justice, but I hope you like her!

Well painted with the weathering really adding a lot |

Klute 07-May-06 #177399 | | Rating: 10 This is awesome Peter. The reds are great and the weathering just right. I think the blade could do with something to break up the surface but not enough that it degrades the whole figure. That hat works really well too. |

SJB 07-May-06 #177393 | | Rating: 10 Excellent work as always Pete. Love the red on the dress, it's got loads of depth without being too high in contrast. Nice to see a simpler style of fig from Werner too. | |
