@Wren: The red item is also a mushroom which grows on the wood. You can only see it properly when you look at the mini from the left. But as there is no such photo... sorry for confusing you!

Rating: 9 It looks as if there are some image compression problems or something like that, but despite that, it looks to me like a lovely paint job. Very nice work with shadow and highlight, particularly on the cloak. I really love the hair, such a great shade of auburn and so nicely highlighted. The freehand is very nicely done also. Some of the wrapping on the staff doesn't look highlighted as nicely as the rest, and I'm not clear on what the red item on the end of the log on the base is (not the white dotted mushroom, the other one).
