I entered this into UK young bloods 2004 and i was very happy to take 1st place.

This was a very big project for me since I hadnt had very much experience with sculpting.
Parts sculpted include: The whole jacket, lower jaw, hat, parts of the trousers and other bits and bobs.
It is based upon som artwork by Adrian Smith that i grew keen to after watching Pirates of the Carribean.
It took me about 6 weeks to complete from start to finish, including the paintjob but it was done at a low hourly rate.

I think no one was even close to you in that category. The sculpting and painting is excellent!

I can't tell you how grateful I am for you entering this mini. Seeing it in the GD 04 review booklet was what inspired me to try and paint well myself. Anyway, this is a truly awesome figure (the sculpting is top-notch too), and a well-deserved trophy indeed. The whole atmosphere and character you achieved is breathtaking. It was nice meeting you at GD 05, I expect another demon for you this year! See you at GD ~Bill

*sigh* if only all Youngbloods were this good. In fact, it's probably a good thing you aren't or I'd just have to quit now...
