Mi primer crucero de caos, y mi primera prueba con óxidos.
No quería caer en los manidos colores de siempre (Khorne - rojo, Nurgle - verde, Tzeentch - azul, Slaanesh - violeta), así que opté por una flota del caos absoluto con un esquema de colores más corriente. Son naves antiguas, anteriores a la herejía, que siguen mostrando los sobrios colores militares de entonces, aunque con un grado de abandono, descuido y mal mantenimiento que las ha dejado cubiertas de óxido, desconchones y desperfectos. La única parte de la nave que ha sido alterada es la proa, repintada por la tripulación para mostrar su nuevo bando.
El óxido ha sido realizado con una técnica de punteo y lavados que leí en esta página, complementada con polvos de talco para darle rugosidad y textura al metal.

I didn't want to employ the overused chaos colors (Khorne - red, Nurgle - green, Tzeentch - blue, Slaanesh - purple), so I decided to create a chaos undivided fleet with a more mundane paint scheme. These are old pre-Heresy ships, which still show up the spartan military colors of that age, but with a degree of neglect, bad maintenance and abandon that have left the ship covered in rust and flaws. The only part of the ship that has been altered is the prow, repainted by the crew to show their new allegiance.
The rust has been made with a "dab and wash" technique that I read in this webpage, combined with talcum powder to give it texture and rugosity.
