Friborus is right !
Only simple Marines was changed in dust because they haved PHYSICAL mutations.
Tht champions are Psyker and they are only Psychical mutations.
This is clearly describe in Thousand Sons' Index Astartes, in the part title : The Rubric of Ahriman.

Nice! well painted and characterfull!... as for the TS blab the dust thing is how they are now not when they turned to chaos- they were still flesh and bone at the beiggining of the hourus herasy. |

this is nice. and yes you are right they are souls in armour but there are also mutants as well. anywho who cares this is good i like it. i normaly see khorne khorne and more khorne, this is a nice change. i was thinking of getting an army around TS but i couldnt be botherd i started a luna wolf army

Nice army, gotta love Thousand sons!
All normal infantry of TS are simply a little pile of dust in power armour.
Since all chmapions have some sort of magic power, they were not changed to dust. |

A good standard for models meant for play, but please tell me if i'm wrong in thinking that the thousand sons marines are supposed to be like spirits inhabiting armor, so having them with human heads means while they may look cool; they are no longer true thousand sons? |
