My entry for the diorama catagory for U.K. golden demon 2006.

It was a finalist but didn't quite make it to the top three.

I'll try again next year

Any constructive comment welcomed.

Thanks for the kind comments. @beowulf. not to harsh at all. In fact some of the things you mentioned were changed. I posted the wrong interior shot. I have posted the actualy completed thing so have a look if ya like. #134986 the free hand numbers were supposed to look kinda hand drawn, like vietnam I almost put a snarling dragon mouth on the front side of the tank too. like they did in WWii. any way thanks for the words dude.

Ok reasons this did not take any prizes are as follows first your a jerk...oh wait I am NOT Tony Monero....by bad...sorry bad joke. In all honestly this is a good piece but the freehand looks too freehanded. I mean look at the lettering on side of the Chimera and the sholderpads. The lettering is rounded off and should have nice sharp corners. The shading on the jackets does not look smooth enough and there should be more highlights on the armor plating. The helmet could do with some blacklining and it looks like there should be a strap to the goggles that you did not bother to paint. Lastly the NMM on the lasguns looks to grey, i think you where trying to go for a Chrome SENMM and it did not suceed. Sorry if I was overly harsh.

Oh, this brings back memories! Tyranid players of yore will remember the old random effect tables. I had this happen to my Space Marine opponent inside his Land Raider. Wonderful diorama!
