Uff, this has been quite a long time in the making.
After finishing the sculpt itself (pic 86962 if anyone is interested to see it)
i dramatically ran out of ideas concerning a paintjob to do the amount of scuplting time i had invested justice (posting the w.i.p. pic hasn´t helped either, acting as a kind of
creativity brake)
inspiration hit me as i thought about the yin-yang symbols i am guilty of adding to almost any elven/eldar mini i layed my hands on;
only this time i used it in a recurring theme almost all over the mini (including the tattoos, in a way).
in regards to sculpting, i added the hound to further the "wild hunt"-theme and re-worked the spear, as the old version somehow didn´t cut it for me any more.

As i enjoy reading your comments and thoughts and really appreciate the effort
i would be glad if you let me know what you think!

Happy painting!

Wow, the tecnhique isn't the best around, but I love the style! I can only deplore the usage of white on strange places... Especially on the horns, torso and on the spear. Don't look natural to me. Takes one point outta me. But tell me, what did you sculpt? The hound and the stance of Orion are outstanding!

A perfect paintjob for such a powerful sculpt. I especially like the idea of the hound - fantastic!

This is amazing. Especially the wolf, as I've always thought that the ones that come with Orion look terribly boring for such a powerful character. Well done.
