Though I hate necro-mini-mancy I thought I'd vote on this because I really like it, and because I'm a horrible, horrible stickler for accuracy with quotes. As far the mini goes, I think the metal would need shading. Black or blue maybe, if you don't want to loose that "shiny" effect.
"Viel Feind, Viel Ehr" is a quote from Georg von Frundsberg, a tactician and Landsknecht from early modern times and is, as such, correct for the time. It's iconic in German, and everyone knows it, except nobody knows where it's from. Only issue it has is that it was, of course, used by the Nazis, like just about any other damn quote. But today it's seen as just a swaggering military motto from the middle ages, and hardly anyone makes the connection to you-know-who-started-the-damn-war. |

Great model!!! if you look at the cloak its being pulled around the edge of his armor which would in turn cause more ripples. but i do agree with the weathering of the armor and that he would treat his weapons equally if not better than it. all in all great piece and i will look forward to your next piece.

Beautiful model. I agree with the statements about the skulls they need a more weathered/dirty look, like you have done with the rusty part of the ball and possibly a hint of that rust color on the armor also. If marines are going to keep their armor clean and rust free, I think they would do the same with their weapons. The only other things that bother me are the ripples at the top of the cloak. I think there are too many and they don't look quite right. If you didn't use reference when sculpting, you might tape a piece of cloth up next time to get the true way cloth would drape in this situation. Beautiful none the less. Great job. |

Wicked sculpt on that cape. There are so many things I like about this guy, but I can't stop looking at the skulls on the base. The color looks a bit off to me. Still, the glowing aura of the eyes is awesome, and the model really shines all around. |

Incredible Job there! There is absolutely nothing for me to say about this mini! Except maybe for the skulls on the ground... They look too plain. Perhaps dirt and stuff would've been the perfect add-on. |
