This is a piece I painted for a friend, who does not like NMM. The guitar was my first attempt at sculpting, it was once a torch. I'm really happy with the way the red/orange cloth came out.

Sarebbe stato meglio lasciare la torcia, la minia sarebbe stata molto più bella. Quella specie di contrabbasso rovina il tutto, anche la pittura non è il massimo ma sarebbe andata bene per una sessione di gdr. Certo che il "violoncello" che lo potevi risparmiare... |

I agree, any score is either going to insult the great job on the cloak, or be exesive for the poor job on the sword give sword a 4, cloak a 7, so 5 |

The mini looks like it was painted by more than one person. The cloak is super smooth, but the sword, hair, boots, banjo... |

I don't like NMM either, but that doesn't mean you just paint the thing silver. In other words, the sword needs highlighting and shading. That's why GW makes like 4 different colors of silver metalics.
The guitar is too big, but nice for a first sculpt. The red is amazing, and the tan pants and shirt aren't far behind. If the rest of the mini were blended as smoothly it would be an 8 easily. |
