Thanks for all the very kind words.
Took about forty hours to paint. Did it a few years ago now and can still remember the nerves before I painted those woad tattoo's  ! Patterning the trousers wasn't so bad; the shear quaility of the sculpt helped so much, I didn't have to 'lose' any of the pattern to make it work.

I've never been that keen on this sculpt, really, but your wonderful paint job makes me forget all that. I'm in awe of your fantastic freehand skills, and the other painting techniques on th emodel are also very fine. |

Lots of excellent touches on this including the tattoes, but what I find most imprssive is the way the patterning on the trousers is crisp, and manages to maintain the straight lines and size of the squares all the way down and across all the folds. Which makes it absoloutely brilliant even before it got shaded  |
