These are some figures I inherited from a friend who quit the 40k scene. I probably shoulda sold them but I ended up painting them insted. These models are from before I discovered CMON so they were painted with unusual methods but I like the way they turned out. The metalics really look pretty good in this photo though I'll be the first to admit they need work. Basing still is a bit of a bear for me. I just don't care enough about them to bohther much. Any comments would be welcome.

MOZZ 15-Jan-07 #210906 | | Rating: - Well, since you ask... I use a variety of paints on these. They were priimed with Floquil Black, the base silver is Poly Scale flat aliminum, the silver was then highlighted with testors enamel chrome. The gold is tamiya which is hghlighted with testors enamel gold. The redish metalic on the back is copper by gunze sanyo and the blade color was one I mixed myself. The guns are a brownish metalic from tamiya as well though i forget the name. Hope that helps. those are hardly the best paints to use but they are the ones I have. |
