Rating: 8 This is a very well done fig. I know faces are often the hardest things to paint on a miniature. It is amazing how different a figures face can look from miniature to minature.
Many people paint the faces first. I dont necessarilty follow this rule but if you are trying for a superb fig it may be worth it. Catch the errors early and act on them.
Rating: 7 The sword blade is perhaps the "weakest" part of this paint job. Still a very good mini nevertheless. Many of us wish we could paint to the standard of your supposed off days! Damn fine base also.
Rating: 7 Well i can see the problem with the cheeks..might be the way the face is structured..another weakness is the lips there is none to speak of
but the clothes and base are pretty well done and the colors complement well even tho the freehand can hardly be distinguished.
