Conversion notes - ( I really should have taken pictures of the unpainted conversion.. oh well..) - the priest is based on one of the latest empire priests. I have added the back banner, new sculpted shield, new sculpted head, Valtens hammer & a couple of extra pieces of parchment. the skull on the base is also my own creation.
I chose to paint this character in the standard red colour, always a safe choice
Overall the painting is based on trying to hit the same level of saturation (is that the correct english term?) and giving the character a weathered, earthy feel.
Rating: 8 I like the conversion, great job! The expression on his face is priceless as well! It looks like he either just found something he really wants to kill or possibly just smelled something that he had not hoped to. All around great use of bits and great atmosphere
Rating: 9 It loocks great ! I like the new head (a bit creepy) and i love the shield, but i think the Valten hammer is too much. Very good conversion, with a great base and a great painting !
