This was another one of those minis that had to be painted in multiple parts. Then I had to hold my breatsh as I put all the pieces together, trying not to srcape off any paint
It was a little easier to paint the individual parts, as I managed to figure out a good substitute for my usual pin vise mini holder! Dowel rods are easier to hold in your hand, they are lighter, and you can even make a board with holes to keep them upright. Best of all, you can still use your pin vise for what it was actually designed for
The base was made with sculpey, wire, zip ties, plasticard, push pins, and brass plating.

LunchBox 14-Nov-07 #241557 | | Rating: 9 I love this mini...a truely dark, Dark Angel.
I nicked this color scheme, and the techniques you taught me for my own DA character. Take a look if you like.

Jakob Nielsen 18-Apr-07 #221744 | | Rating: 9 Very nice indeed. I love the fact that you didn't use red on this guy - that makes him really stand out. Cool. Nice light source effect also. |
Jericho 18-Apr-07 #221729 | | Rating: 8 I'm guessing the $0.99 is a mistake of some kind He looks really nice, the atypical colors I have mixed feelings about but he's definitely a nice display piece. Seems a bit too awkward for gaming with that base. |
