degra 18-Apr-07 #221740 | | Rating: - thx all!
thx to bohun! - i will concentrate on anatomy now, i think i can deal with the detail by now.
the horses size i distortate on the fotos - i had to go rather near the figurine to take a pic, so that you can see the details, but that ment also that proportions aren t true anymore.
please keep that point in mind, fotos are just fotos and not exactly telling the truth - but anyhow thx a lot for numerous comments, i really appreciate to know what people think of my work!
cheers

raptaparat 2 15-Apr-07 #221407 | | Rating: 10 only one thing: the horse is to big imo and way to static. apart from that it's a fantastic work. details are just incredible! |
Bohun 15-Apr-07 #221373 | | Rating: 10 Well, easily one of your best. Those tiny details of your's are so finely crafted. I love all the pieces of armour (to imagine how much time and effort you must've spent on them), the horses mane, the hair of the rider, and just so much more! However, the anatomy isn't correct in all it's aspects IMO. Perhaps it's just the picture, but the right arm looks to thin and the hand to small. As for the horse it's obviously too big, but hell, it's fantasy we create, so we can just imagine it's some kind of giant breed
One more comment about the pose: while the rider's pose looks dynamic, all right, the horse seems strangely static. I know it's only a niuance, as the mini is truly fantastic. Well, overall, it's a clear ten and a landmark in the field of detailed sculpting! If you could perhaps only improve your skills in anatomy... a God you would truly be |
aurelio 14-Apr-07 #221276 | | Rating: 10 absolutely stunning. man you are the master. what a details... best sculptor ever. regards. |
dennis. 14-Apr-07 #221275 | | Rating: 10 Either i'm used to seeing underscaled horses or this one is too large.. anyway it's an overlookable point in a fantastic sculpt... look forward to your progress |
Duende 11-Apr-07 #221051 | | Rating: 9 I actually think the horse looks too big. I've worked in a stables with 72 horses and this would be a dang big horse. Also, he is sitting too far back, he should be closer to the withers. (Just trying to be helpful) |
IG88 09-Apr-07 #220759 | | Rating: 10 finally someone who sculpts a horse to be as large as it shoud be, most sculpt them way too small, pony size, great job. | |
