Micha 26-May-07 #225206 | | Rating: 9 very good really, this really looks like something that would find use on the battlefield, light and moble with a good field of sight for the driver... the scratchbuilt arms of the thing look great, the assoult cannon+shield combo has go a lot of style. |

That was the general idea, yes.
".....can't figure out what "special ops" a dreadnought would be used for anyway"
It's a part of a special ops themed army. Just for those times when you need a little firepower as backup...
"The controls look a bit simplistic to control 2 arms and 2 legs, also."
I pictured the hand controls as being just for the weapons, or for fine-tuning. The rest would be a neural interface, hooked through his backpack port. |
THEKAPPTIN 24-May-07 #225032 | | Rating: 7 For those "special" ops where the dude inside needs to be breathing... Cool concept. I think I would like it more with more armour on the cockpit area. The controls look a bit simplistic to control 2 arms and 2 legs, also. The mechanical arms you made are awesome, by the way. |
