A ranger painted for my most recent terrain piece. This is the first mini I've submitted, and I don't claim to be a good painter, but I do think I'm adequate.

Thanks all of you who commented.
My main thing is terrain, and mini's are kind of a necessary evil, since a few mini's really bring a terrain pice to life. This is the first, and so far only mini I've posted, even though I've got about a dozen terrain projects. Thanks for the pointers about the washes, I'll have to check that out. |

Your paintjob is not bad, but I think you could give the mini more depth, if you simply ink the colours, afterwards then you drybrush it in the original colour. That will give clothes and skin a much better look.
Otherwise, your paintjob is good and very clean and the terrain surrounding the mini looks very good. |

The eyes are horrid. The rest doesn't look bad - maybe just a little chalky. The photo looks a little over exposed too. | |
