Eldar Warlock

Just started painting again latly after a long break. This painting wasnt done specifically for the site, I would just like some feed back on my style and possible improvments that I could make.

Finally some feed back :). Thanks for the comment pete, im considering adding a thron pattern along the sleve ends of his robe and have already painted a heart design on the bottom left at the back of the robe. Sin3br, the blacklining between the fingers seems to be a personal thing. I have asked around and people seem to like it both ways, I think it just comes downto personal preference. I normally do blackline hands but his were a little experiment to give the white a cooler look with blue.

things to improve IMHO : Use stronger highlights on the green robe and blackline between the fingers

What struck me first about this figure was how smooth and refined it looks. Really high quality blending on those robes, and the slight touch of light on the sword is really great. Don't be tempted to change and go overboard with highlighting. A good thing to focus on now would be some freehand detailing (runes and the like) to compliment the robes, as you seem proficient with details. Very nice work and excellent style!
