This was my this years entry in the warhammer-monster category. I won bronce with it. The most parts of it have been painted with oils. The wings are from a dead dragonfly I found in my garage. I overpainted them with nearly 100 layers of future-floor-wax. The main theme of the whole thing is something like a spartanien-demon-prince. Comments very welcome.

Your idea with the wings...i really need to
copy it shamelessly, you know.
Apart from the cool theme just one criticism:
it is massively underrated, scoring a measy 7,9 by the time i write this!
