Warhammer 40k Ragnar Blackmane on sculpted base
I thought that I might spice this fig up a bit with the usual sculpted base, but also a banner. Also, I wanted to do a banner that was a little different than the previous Space wolves banners, which were more of a traditional flag nature. This time around, I wanted to create a wolf skin/pelt effect. I didn't think that a full painted, brightly colored wolf head would work this time. Looking through the Art of Warhammer 40k book, I found an answer. I made the whole design monocromatic, almost like a tattoo on the surface of the skin.
