The combination of my interest for the Tau race and a load of inspiration from the last Games Day (Germany) spawned this: a converted Tau Firewarrior. The theme of this model is supposed to be a soldier left behind on the battlefield, lonely roaming the planet on which he is stranded. His armour is heavily weathered, but he still carries a flag with his sept symbol.
I decided to use an extremely simple color scheme on this one. Basically there are two tones on this model: green-grey and red-brown. Actually every mix has some green-grey in it, to bring everything together. The scratches on the armour turned out very well, but in my opinion the skin is the best part on this model.
