Hi Di Ho!

Oh, so sorry for not writing a text at the beginning, I had to organize some things, now I can write......

Okay, the Version II of the Bike Lord...

It all begun with the First Version (please check my CMON Account in order to see it... http://www.coolminiornot.com/155885 ... Games Day France 2007 Bronze Rider / Monster: Black Wind, Fire And Steel... )... A Customer from the US saw it... he was wondering how this bike in general would look like as a Legion Of The Damned Bikelord for his Army... In general I turn down such multiple or copy commisions, but because I enjoyed creating the first version and because I am not too satisfied with the NMM I decided to give it a try......

Luckily the customer gave me free hand on how exactly the changes will look like, so I could experiment deliberately on the Flames, on the Conversion and some new Techniques (like the Blue Glow and the Real Metallic Metal...)...

In general it was not an easy thing to do: I had to create a Miniature full of character (for it is the leader of a Army...) AND simultaneously I had to take care of the several Themes included... Bones, Flames, Loyalist Marines, Mysterious Aspect of the Legion Of The Damned... the first Version had some of these Aspects included and it was important to stress them a bit more extreme (or underline it...)...

This time I did the face all by myself (with the first version Ben Komets helped me out, because I was unsure, thank you so much again...... Nasenbärchen...) ... I wanted it to be more realistic, I wanted to stress the mimic, the mood, ambience...

In general I needed similar as long time as with the first version, because some parts were completely different concerning the conversion or the paintjob... even both...... The exhaust tips are made of a small Copper Tube which I drilled (sadly unsymmetrically...)... the Flames are sculpted with Brown Stuff...

After going trhough the rougher paintjob I decided to add some of the corrosion to the Metal to show the ancient aspect of the Armor... Further I added a blue glow, which comes from the inside of the Armor... it gives the Miniature a mysterious appearance...

In general I could have used more Bones everywhere... the contrast of the light Bone and the Dark Armor would have been more then welcome...... Well, maybe with my next version, you never know (although it is not very likely, I don´t want to have a mechanic "Orange County Chopper" kind of reputation......)...

Hope you like this model... I would like to thank my Customer for making this possible and for giving me a *good* reason to do it......

Thanks to all of you guys who voted on it... I appreciate very much and love that you like it... Thank you very much for your comments...

It is a honor to be in the Top Of The Week with these brilliant miniatures and share the podium with them... really great stuff, guys (and gals......)...

Keep on commenting... and Voting... thanks...

BEAUTIFUL!! The only one TINY little thing is that I think the face/head should look more spectral (just my opinion.)

It´s quite a pitty that you gave away those two bikes, I guess they would have looked great beneath each other. Concerning the new one I especially like the overall darker ambience (maybe due to the metallics) and the face yet the flames appear a bit strange to me particularly at his weapon.
