13 hours to paint it all..
aaahm! the head, the left armn and some details are sculpted. to achieve a little conversion and change the composition of the mini.. cause i think that even if the original sculpture is fantastic.. teh position of the head is in a wrong way. but.. just my vision of composition.

I love this mini! It was such an experience to watch you paint this in the Hostel in the night before GD!! hehehe Amazing work for 13 hours. Alfon, you do not need to prove anything, you are a master already, who cares about a trophy, it is a great Creation with such atmosphere. I love the Face, such character, such expression. the base and the Bomb are great too. I hope David loves it. Keep up the great work master. - Kyle |

I dislike the Bomb (the Green ist too flat or it lacks contrast with Brown... or Blue, you used to like that some year ago...), but the whole Mini is GREAT... very nice conversion, the hand is weaker then the hair, overall it is good...
Clothes and face are very good... Base is brilliant, very good choice of colors...

Your style, again your style! You need to love it or hate it (it's just so characteristic and yes! I'm lovin' it ). So good to see you back and with such an intimate a piece of work. David W. is such a lucky guy... Everything of 'you' can be seen here: striking and powerful idea, great execution tending towards realism in light, great composition and 'purpose' of every little detail (which I find just so enchanting), and finally a sense of humor that makes it sooo cool. I hope to meet you someday. Mayby on Expo next year. Take care! |

Great mini! Love the idea and the conversion.
The mini could have been a little bit cleaner, f.e. the blendings on the trousers could have been a bit smoother. But for only 13 hours, its outstanding!!! |
