I painted this chap about a year ago. I realised that his photo was particularly bad so I thought this one may be an improvement.

photo's still iffy for me mate, but i do like the dulled look of the armour as opposed to the bright gold you usually see on this |

Great stuff Nige. Now I know the photo doesnt do this much justice. The really dirty gold seems to come of as an amateurs (someone like me!) attempt at painting gold but looking closer you can tell all this was planned, the dirty transitions, the lumpy bumpy painting to make the armour look old and decaying, good work I say. | |
