Apologies for re-posting this but I realised the original pictures were a bit over exposed due the new light tent I got. So sorry if you've looked before but I would be very grateful for anyone that would like to vote again. I'll try and use a link in future to avoid this sort of thing.

When I did the samurai accessories last year I found that the Poste Militaire figures were back in production, so I got this sculpt that Julian Hullis did back in 1991 and which I never got hold of when it was originally released.
It can be done as either a Mongol or a Timurid, and having looked at some of the examples of the remaining architecture at Smarkand I wanted to use those sorts of designs in the base of this figure to give it that sort of setting.
I'd also like to thank all my friends at "The Basement", "OZ Painters" and on the "Spanish Forum" for their input while I was working on this piece. I think I've finally managed to get some detail and texture into the leather work. Now I just have to get that sort of detail into my 30 mil fantasy pieces.
