This is the Champion of my Path to Glory Warband. He serves Slaanesh, the God of Dark Pleasures. Every true worshipper of Dark Pleasures should have a beautiful pleasure slave. 
The armour was layered up from black through warlock purple to pink with multiple purple ink glazes. The turquoise was done from Scaly Green to Hawk Turquoise, and then glazed with inks. I'm very happy with the results the armour is very rich and deep in colour and has a really nice glow like effect. The sword was done in about 8 layers of blue, over black, through to white with multiple blue ink glazes, like the armour the effect is an electric glow that is quite stunning in person.
The Slave girl’s skin turned out really well, blended up to 9 layers, it is soft and even, though it is hard to tell under the harsh lighting of the photo. The very light pink skirt has lost most of its definition in the lighting.

Personally, I think this is the best I've done to date. This Champion and his two Warriors won 1st Place in my local GWShop's "The Chaos Warbands Painting Competition" on Dec. 7, 2002.
While deciding how to proceed with these miniatures, I was very inspired by Jericho's version http://www.coolminiornot.com/?id=10624 and Shroud's Champion and Attendant http://www.coolminiornot.com/?id=10187
So I'm sending out my thanks to you guys and all the other painters, sculptors and article writers, here on CMON for all the knowledge and inspiration.

nice conversion idea. The pink highlights of the black armour are well done. The topless chained slave is a good idea, you managed to done her a good skin tone, as palid as a slaanesh follower schould have ;-) |

I agree with Axebone. Some minis are painted well. Some minis depict the 'character' of the mini well. This one does both. The sneering smile from that champion is just plain evil!!

Blade...! My Man! This guy OOZES attitude! A very sweet Slaanesh color scheme and some wicked details and highlights make this a very stellar piece of painting in my book. And, the Book of Axebone ALWAYS has room for more naked babes! I feel an Unholy Alliance beginning to form...! | |
