Rating: 9 Beautiful work. Colour scheme just screams insectoid. The only reason I didnt rate this higher is that the base just throws it right off for me and spoils the brilliant painting. I dont know if it is too big or stained too bright but just looks out of place. Maybe a darker more understated colour won't look so bad. My eye was instantly taken to the base and it competes to heavily with the mini making the mini sink into the background.
Rating: 10 beautiful work in your usual great style..could maybe do with a little repositioning of the legs as the pose looks a bit unnatural as it is with that base...minor point but lovely work
