SF Terrain Table (single segment no.4) is assigned to play in science-fiction tabletop wargames such as Warhammer 40000, Urban War, Infinity and other games in popular wargaming scale 28mm.
Base of segment is made from hard laminated chipboard plate (10 mm thickness) covered by shell made from sand and small stones mixed with PVA glue. Imitation of concrete plates and dump of rubble are added.
Some parts of buildings are made from genuine Urban Mammoth's Hexagon Builder and Platform Builder sprues. Most of construction is created from scratchbuild or handmade various elements such as computer and monitor pieces, plasticard plates, small plastics parts, blocks, boxes, tubes, pipes, ladders, wires, caps, air fans, plastic grids, metal meshes, barbed wires and many different nice looking pieces.
Static Grass and other imitation of plants were used.
Some peoples say that artificial leaves look not good as the rest of scenery. It could be a true but I made this table to active playing not for looking only. My extraterriestal trees and brushwood are extremely immune to damage - minis and vehicles can be moving free during playing the game without risk of defect of vegetation by crumbling, breaking and bending. Areas of vegetables give good cover and possibility of hiding.
Single segment has dimensions 24" x 24".
Scenery is professionally painted using acrylic and oil artistic paints.
