Hi to all, this is my lastest sculpt. It´s a 30mm miniature inspired on some art work, mainly on this one: http://uk.games-workshop.com/download/popup.htm?/hordesofchaos/artwork/images/art07.jpg
I´m very happy with the result and the change of scale. The photos were done when it was almost finished, I have added a black and white photo to see better the mini on the base and the details of the finished shield. It´s sculpted in supersculpey firm duro and milliput.
It won silver in the spanish GD 2008, Open Category... probably the best category ever seen for the amount of amazing models that were there. Congrats to Allan and Basajaun, two real masters and so inspiring guys.

Hello Nano. I really like your sculpt. The dynamism is great. The head and the muscle work is great as well. However, I believe there are some anathomical errors. The biggest on imo can be seen in the first pic: while the right arm is up, the muscles connecting it with the back are not visibly tensed. It looks as if he was standing straight, without any movement. All in all I like your job a lot. |
