Everything is beautiful except the eyes. Love the tones and smooth painting, the skin is lovely! But the eyes just stand out to much and doesn't seem to be that well painted either. If I forget the eyes it's a clear 9.. but the eyes are so important for the character of the mini so it pushes it back to a mid 8 perhaps. This might be helpful or not, but how I interpret your recent work is that you are in some middleground of painting atm. You combine great beautiful realistic work with more simplistic techniques that sometimes ruin some of the perception of it (like overly stark darklining and too white and washed out highlights placed in a "things standing out" instead of "where light might fall" matter). That is what keeping you down atm. But if you continue on the path I see you might be taking I will expect great great things from you in the future.
