This is an old Ral Partha piece I painted about 15 years ago from the company's Shadow Run series. The sculpt is by Jim Johnson. I fell in love with the painted studio model displayed in the Ral Partha catalog. Since this was pre-internet and pre-eBay, I had no other mini-painter to turn to at the time, so I decided to try copying the painted model myself. I had just turned in my Testors paint in favor of acrylics and was eager to experiment.
It won't win any painting contests, but it's still one of my favorite pieces.
