This scene was created for Wyrd Minis Femme Fatale earlier this year. I had so much fun creating the base - the bridge is made from coffee stirrers (only the best from Starbucks) and wire and the actual base started off as a square block, cut and made to look like a ravine under the bridge.
The figure is Taxxis #2 from Hasslefree - just gotta love Kev's awesome sculpts. For me, this was an exercise in skintone. I was trying to achieve a 'Fluffesque' smoothness and I'm really pleased with how she turned out.
There are several ways of interpreting the scene: has she just run across the bridge herself and turned to face her foe? or is she defending her 'side' - ready to cut the ropes if the situation turns bad? You decide!
She won me 3rd place in the Simply Scandalous category - thanks to Nathan for running one of the best online comps out there
Rating: 8 Spectacular basing work there. If anything the mini is a bit overwhelmed by it, perhaps it's the giant flowers behind her. Great work though.
