This is my latest project for GD08 at birmingham), courtesy of M.A.S. who built the original airframe.
( just confrirmed comment about sole work, so you wont get to see this at the show !!! dont want to cheat! will win on my own ,so expect to see on ebay when im done !)
You will see i have painted the main body in a Flip paint scheme-it changes from scarab green to dark saphire blue as you move it around to change the angle of the light source.
On the main wing panels i have painted a representation of the developement of the Eldar galaxy system with the final star map on the left panel of the turret,unfortunately camera angle doesnt catch it very well ( as per the codex star map )
i added a crystal to the main targeting matrix along with some other minor details.
There is a painting of the harlequin homeworld to the right of the foreward face and the harlequin symbology has been written into the blue diamonds on the rhs dome within the harlquin pattern.
all comments welcome and it is far from finished yet, but thought i would share the project with you all.

Regretfully this would be disqualified under GW's Golden Deamon One person as Builder and Painter rules.
Rating: 9 Looking at the whole thing, I take back my other comment. This is spectacular. The faces (particularly the white) could use a little more depth perhaps.
