I had been looking forward to painting this mini for quite some time
There were lots of blending things that I wanted to try out, as well as working lots of crazy colors together in confined spaces. I had a lot of colors out on the pallette, and I used a larger brush so that my initial layers could be blended together while they were still somewhat wet. It let me work very fast to establish where I wanted some of the larger color areas to be, and then lots of glazes!
After the glazing, I went back in with more highlighting in complimentary colors.
I realize that more muted colors are the Choice Du Jour at the moment, but this is Slaneesh, after all!

Like you said, not in the current style, but the blending is all good. you probably could have combined the muted colours into the whip and the blue veiney things, might have produced a cool contrast.
overall, i like it | |
