Ultramarine sergeant with chainsword and bolt pistol on sculpted base
It's been a long time since I last used Ultramarines blue! :-) In fact, I believe it was just one other miniature where I broke out that crazy blue. It is not the easiest color to use, as it likes to dry very quickly, and other annoying traits. I figured that I would stick with the traditional colors on this, however. Also, I had been wanting to do one of my sculpted conduit bases with crackling energy and OSL effect. This one was just right, as his feet fit in there just right, and the long lioncloth let the glow work its way up the mini. More images in the discuss submissions "Smurf Marines" thread.
