Wow, this is a very nicely done piece. I love the movement, it makes it very dynamic. Overall it’s a very cool mini, a solid 8. Having said that, I know it’s still not perfect. No piece ever is. There’s always room for improvement. Yes, Banshee we all know what an awesome artist you are. The minis you’ve posted are among the very best, beautiful in every respect. Your work is inspirational to many including me but… You really come across as a jealous jerk. Remember this is not a historical contest. Instead of saying we are “blind” or being insulting with your comments, an artist of your caliber should try to be helpful. There’s a vast difference between constructive criticism and outright scorn. You should be inspiring people not putting them down.

sorry if i have showed a bad image, but firslyy, i dont express myself as i would like in english..so i s easy to explain myself ina not very politre way. sorry for that if you feel damaged.. but..realy, i think that those overated scores, dontr help to teh painter who watch a diorama like that with that rate.. i meanif you are interested to improve i think is better to know what is your real level.
and Ar2oo: i dont put 1..almost i have not voted your mini, only commented.. i think this is better to comment than to vote. maybe you can pick something good from a comment not from a vote..anyway.. i dont need to put you down, yuou know?. it is not important for me and this site is not a real meaning of the miniature level in all arrounbd the world.. just a play, and a good place to comment and read opinions, no more. so if you want to try to interpretate my words ina good way, it will be ok..irf not..sorryy and continue. cheers |

Probably this work took a lot of time. That is why I give you an 8. Quality is a 7, but all dioramas in this quality look decent. I don't like the body of the crucial model. It should be a dirty barbarian, not a shaven clean guy  You are not building his back by your painting - sculpture isn't helpful but you should do something with it. shouldn't the shield be painted inside? |

With all due respect Banshee, I think you are very narrow minded here. This is definitely a very good piece, far from being tabletop (your score) and it does look 'cool'. And that's what this site is about, isn't it? There is a lot of different types of expression and not all of them require perfect ambient or entirely realistic feel. Just my 2c. Nice job ar2roo. |

totally overrated. no ambient, no light no shadows.. all is plain. people are blind. somethings with high cuality has a very poor rating and others like thsi that could not pass the first cut in an historical contest has a 9,2. watch the skin of the barbarian.. flesh coat directly from the pot.. |
