Well, I learned quite a bit with this miniature... mainly, 2 dimensional banners are really hard to do. Oh well.
Anyway, this one is of course a Games Workshop plastic knight, but it has been converted by General Kayel (WarhammerRealm) as a memorial for Highborn Sycath, who was a huge contributor to Warhammer Realm and also many other miniature forums and definitely passed well before his time. Notice that the banner was sculpted at half mast, and also that the horse is rearing - a sign of a true hero.
The guys (and girls) over at Warhammer Realm will be using this miniature and a huge number of other ones contributed by other members at the Realm in tournaments throughout the season... so when you see this guy on the table, simply give a small moment of silence for a great person.
