I think the figure is a 10. I think the base is a 10. Together, they are a bit like a chocolate truffle and pepperoni pizza. The figure is very clean...regal....magnificent. The base is a powerful image of the horror of war, accumulated over a long period of time. He doesn't look part of it; he looks like he has shown up after it's all over, or he is watching it from on high. It's still a 10.

Brassangel: ahahah ,typically hypocrit as an argument ^^...you CANNOT compare natalya and genius like Van Gogh or Leonardo Da Vinci...In there time they was painting with eggs/oil on canvas or on walls...they hadn't so much painting and materials to do what they wanted. I respect their work because I studyied them during years (I do not say I'm an expert anymore,  ), and this is so easy to compare masters who made so much work , and stayed in history of painting , with us , little painters of miniatures...

Moreover, I'm totally astonished to see that you consider that mini fantastic juste because of her price ! ahahahahahaha ! I sold a mini 200€, and that's not forthat I consider this is good work, or better work than others...the price has importance only for the buyer...

If everybody would judge a mini on her price, we would never have young painters on the podiums...that's my point of view...that's so easy to defend someone only because he sell pieces...I have more respect for Guillaume Hemery of even Mohammed Aït medhi, who paint originals minis for the pleasure of the owner...you know who they are ? you should...

very fresh and clean like he just bought some new gear. could use some dirt and wear. and personally would have used some dead grass. would have made the whole thing a bit more creepy. otherwise very good job. keep it up. |

So maxime day, you'd criticize Van Gogh, Picasso, Rembrant, Da Vinci, etc., for repeating themes, colors, and their trademark style?
Think of it more like her signature than repetativeness. The sale price of the miniature speaks for itself. |
