Bane Thralls have to be some of the most OTT miniatures, from a range which is all pretty OTT to begin with (Privateer Press's WARMACHINE). Despite the excessively large axes and shoulder pads, I really like them. I think the robes trailing off into nothing is a nice effect.
The flash has been really unkind to the black on the robes, however; they look less chalky in the flesh. I'm especially pleased with the corroded copper effect on the armour and axes. It was quite easy to achieve, and IMHO looks great.
