I speedpainted ten OLD Halberdiers (found in our bitz box) to act as a detachment in my friends Empire army. They were painted in 4 hours, based and then dipped.
The models are not very impressive, but when painted they’ll work just fine when we need some extra units.

The models/Halberdiers were painted in four hours, and THEN based and dipped. If will add the basing and dipping, we'll have to add about 50 minutes.
There are no details added to the models. I just let the dip do the shading. Thats a great way to get them to the gaming table FAST!
They won't win any painting competitions, but from a normal "gaming distance", about 50-150 cm, they look really good! |
